Extant permission Agricultural Dwelling

Overview

In a rural location in open countryside with no obvious context and outside of any settlement boundary, our clients sought to create an agricultural tied dwelling to support them in their agricultural business.

Initial investigations into the planning history of the site found that a previous planning permission had been granted 20 years earlier and were able to prove had been partially implemented, resulting in an extant permission on the site. The design of the extant house was dated and not to our clients’ requirements, however this extant permission helped with the case for the new dwelling.
