Our clients operated a large commercial bio-mass energy plant and required additional accommodation (of around 4,000 sq ft) for storage, workshop, offices, and a laboratory, with associated car parking, including to replace existing temporary buildings.
The site was only recently constructed and posed some unique challenges including a constrained layout and the need to site and construct the proposed building so as not to disrupt the existing plant. The original planning permission was subject to a detailed EIA and ongoing restraints and careful consideration was given to ensure no changes were made to those details previously agreed.
Working closely with the client and their key team, proposals were developed and submitted to the Council. Due to the detailed and carefully considered scheme, the application was approved with no amendments to the proposals required.
