Conversion of rural Public House into three apartments

Overview

The existing Public House had become unviable with numerous Tenants being unable to make the success of the business. The owner approached us to consider the potential for the building and site as a whole.

The existing building was a substantial stone building sitting directly onto the road and it was felt, as the site was outside of any settlement boundary in an area of restrictive policies for new buildings, that conversion to residential would be the most financially viable solution.

The designs evolved to balance the existing layout with the requirements for open space and parking balanced with the desire to maximise the potential of the property.
