Change of use from dwelling house to supported living

Overview

Our clients had already submitted their planning application before they contacted Plande to assist with the issues they were facing. Having already started on the construction works and receiving numerous objections and queries from neighbours, statutory consultees and the Planning Department we set out to review the submission and develop a strategy for obtaining approval.

Due to the various issues, the original application was withdrawn, and a refreshed and robust new application was submitted following detailed negotiations with the Planning Officer. The amended application, without materially changing the proposals, scale or design of the scheme, while still receiving objections from neighbours was ultimately approved by the Council. As part of the approval process plande negotiated with the Planning Officer and applicant to agree on a range of conditions to help manage and mitigate the development.
