Located within a parade of units the existing takeaway had ceased trading. The parade was located within an established residential area and our client wanted to be able to provide eye examinations and a range of optician services as a complementary provision to the long-established dental practice opposite.
It was justified that a lack of opticians within the heart of the immediate large communities provided a great opportunity to provide a community facility and service.
As part of the application, a new contemporary glazed shopfront was also requested.
