After submitting an unsuccessful planning application for the installation of a taproom and shop within their Brewery our clients approached us to see if we could help as the business needed the two aspects to stay viable.
The business was a craft brewery and was only looking to sell its own beer and for a potential customer to taste their different products as a way of encouraging additional sales. It was anticipated that these aspects of the business were a small percentage of the overall business, which in itself was a small independent brewer.
Our detailed analysis and research led to a robust justification of the proposals, which the Council ultimately accepted which allowed our clients to diversify their business and allow for the sales of alcohol on and off the premises.
